Innovating housing solutions for refugees with World Learning.

When more than 100 Afghans arrived in Brattleboro, Vermont in August 2021, World Learning and its School of International Training stepped up to provide housing by transforming its campus for refugees. In addition to housing, World Learning also engaged with the surrounding community and partnered with ECDC to provide learning programs and deliver core services.

RHS sat down with World Learning VP of External Engagement and Advocacy to learn more about this initiative, which is continuing this year with an additional 70 arriving Afghans!

Blueprint for Permanent Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) released in November its analysis of the U.S. Department of Treasury's Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program to provide new research, tools, and case study examples lending to potential implementation of a permanent ERA program.

Idaho as an Example of Statewide Housing Partnerships for Refugees
