New Research from RHS on Widespread Effects of U.S. Housing Crisis

RHS recently published a new report on the current high-level picture of the U.S. housing crisis in the context of refugee resettlement and the needs of other newcomers. While citizens and non-citizens alike are impacted by national housing shortages and the prevalent lack of affordability, refugees and other newcomers are presented with additional challenges and barriers to securing safe, sanitary housing.

Difficulty finding housing for displaced persons is an ever-growing issue globally, too. The report examines the relevant data on U.S. housing (primarily rental) costs and availability while also considering the global refugee resettlement context and outlining the various initiatives to develop solutions, led by RHS and others.
