Welcome to the first AlburyCity News for 2022.
As we enter the first week of February, the Christmas and New Year break feels like a distant memory, and our plans for the year ahead are well and truly underway.
The beginning of 2022 continues to be extremely busy for our teams, as we deliver the broad range of services that our community relies on. We also welcome our new Mayor and Councillors who are looking forward to leading our city, as we strive to ensure Albury is a great place to live, work, and invest.

What a month it has been, with La Niña seeing us experience our wettest January in 40 years.

When cooling off in the Murray River, Lake Hume, and other local waterways, it’s important for your own safety to be mindful of the hazards and risks posed by changing conditions, cold water, slippery banks, strong currents, and uneven surfaces.

Nestled under a bushland canopy along the serene Murray River is our latest local event – Riverside Vibes.
Get creative in a workshop, try some delicious food, and discover local Indigenous art. With lots of activities on offer for the whole family to enjoy, Riverside Vibes is sure to quickly become a local favourite.

If it's a 'yes please', you might want to check out the Albury Wodonga Grants Hub, which is your one-stop-shop for finding potential funding for a whole range of things, and you can search for local, state, and federal grant opportunities all in one place.
You can even register to have relevant grant opportunities emailed to you when they come up, and get valuable advice and assistance on how to give your next grant application every chance of being successful.
