A diabetes nursing group has launched an insulin comparison chart. The Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) Forum UK has developed the chart to outline the different insulins and delivery devices in a simple concise format. NHS England’s National Specialty Advisor for Diabetes Professor Partha Kar is stepping down after eight years “shaping policy” in the role. Starting the position in 2014, Professor Kar has been involved in some of the biggest diabetes transformations in the NHS. The diabetes community in the UK is being encouraged to shine a light on their achievements by entering the Rowan Hillson Inpatient Diabetes Award 2024. A team at the forefront of inpatient diabetes will be nationally recognised during the annual award ceremony later this year.
