Tyddyn Isaf Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

Version 1 – 18th March 2020 Issued at 08.00

Tyddyn Isaf is Open ...

We understand that you may be feeling unsettled given the global concern and rapidly changing situation around Coronavirus (COVID-19), and we would like to reassure you that the health and safety of our guests and team is our number one priority.

Tyddyn Isaf Caravan Park is committed to keeping our guests and team safe, informed and supported and we are confident in our ability to act fast to follow any Government and Public Health advice in a situation that’s changing on a daily basis.  We are closely monitoring the developing situation and following Government guidance to ensure you can enjoy the holiday you deserve.

We can confirm that we have had no outbreaks on our park, we’re open for business as usual and will provide an update should any changes occur.

Confidence in our care

If you are due to be enjoying your holiday with us shortly we would like to assure you of the action that we are taking to ensure the risk to our guests and team remains low.

We have implemented the highest level of hygiene practices and safety protocols, in accordance with the recommendations set forth by the World Health Organisation, to mitigate the spread of coronavirus at our park

Our teams have full training in health and safety procedures and have received further guidance in relation to keeping our guests, owners and team as safe and secure as possible during the Coronavirus situation.

We are also ensuring that each and every visitor to our park understands how we can all work together to reduce the risk of contracting Coronavirus.  As well as hygiene posters across all of our public areas we will also be providing leaflets about hand washing and other useful information.

FAQ's

Are there plans to close Tyddyn Isaf to guests?

No, we have risk assessed the park and are doing everything that we can to keep the park a low risk area.

We will follow the latest advice and should guidance change, or any incident arise and the park needed to be closed, we will contact anyone who has booked and publicise the closure on our website.

Please be sensible however, and do not come to Tyddyn Isaf if you have any of the symptoms associated with Coronavirus i.e. a high fever or a new/persistent cough.  If you do show any signs or symptoms on arrival we will ask you to return home.

Most accommodation on the park is self-sufficient and spacing between units is greater than 6 metres.

With regards to our restaurant and bar – on the basis that we have a small, well spaced seating capacity, (> 1.5m between tables) this will also remain open as per previous correspondence.  For those guests that are fully isolating, we will be providing a full take-away delivery service.

Why are you remaining open despite the government advising people not to travel?

Essentially, we are still getting enquiries from people wanting to stay and the only way to sustain our business financially is to keep going.  Along with many other businesses, we simply can not afford to just close our doors.  We remind guests that we are taking every precaution possible on park to reduce the risk of Coronavirus spreading.

What can I do to protect myself?

Whether you are already here staying at Tyddyn Isaf, or you are planning to arrive shortly we would ask all our guests and owners to take the following sensible Government Advice:

- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. See Catch it, Bin it, Kill it

- Put used tissues in the bin straight away

- Wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. See hand washing guidance

- Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

Can I get a refund if I cancel my Tyddyn Isaf booking?

When booking your holiday to Tyddyn Isaf, along with your booking confirmation, you will have also received details of our Terms and Conditions: http://tyddynisaf.co.uk/terms-conditions/

Can I amend the date of my booking?

At the current time, as a gesture of goodwill, we will transfer any bookings to a revised date within this season.

What should I do if I feel unwell whilst on park?

If you become unwell and suspect it might be Coronavirus (high fever / new persistent cough) we would kindly ask you to take the following steps:

- Please call the office and notify us immediately using your mobile

- Pack your belongings and return home
