Hello 

Some of the C-DaRE team have been travelling. Sarah Whatley was recently in Pakistan supporting Coventry University’s British Council funded Research Capacity Building Programme to train academics in how to carry out peer review for research. Susanne Foellmer is currently Senior Fellow at the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg in Greifswald, Germany, researching Protest Movements: Choreography As a Tool to Create and Analyse Dynamics in Topical Situations of Resistance. In other news: i) Rosa Cisneros, Georgina Cockburn and Emma Meehan were involved on a panel for Elevate, an accessible, inclusive and disabled-led arts conference; ii) the Journal of Dance and Somatic Practices’ Equality, Diversity and Inclusion working group has created a new blog at jdspedi.wordpress.com; and iii) Kathryn Stamp was elected co-chair of the Society for Dance Research alongside current co-chair Lise Uytterhoeven.
