2022 Research Appreciation Day
Join us in honoring a few of our colleagues as part of School of Medicine Researcher Appreciation Day. Each year, the Faculty Recognitions Committee organizes this opportunity to nominate colleagues who are performing groundbreaking research. While this is not an exhaustive list of research performed across the school, it provides a snapshot of their incredible breadth of expertise in the SOM.
Last Chance to Register: 2022 DOM Research Day
Deadline: Friday, September 30
The program includes oral and poster presentations representing all ten divisions, speakers spanning the academic spectrum–from undergraduates to full professors, a keynote address from E. Dale Abel, MD, PhD, Chair and Executive Medical Director, Department of Medicine, UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine, and five Featured Research talks from Emory DOM faculty. Agenda ǀ Questions ǀ Register
DOM Consult Program provides a centralized resource for faculty to request assistance in five distinct areas: presentations, grant preparation, mentoring, teaching advisement, and manuscript preparation. It’s a great resource for anyone preparing a talk or a poster for Research Day – requested deadline is 30 days in advance of event or submission.
The FY23 Fringe and F&A Rate Agreement can be found here. These fringe rates will apply to all salary charged beginning 9/1/2022.
DOM RAS is requesting the following timelines for pre-award requests to the Pre-Award Inbox: - Proposals, progress reports, other support requests: at least two weeks prior to sponsor deadline. Requests made earlier than two weeks are always appreciated.
- Proposals with subrecipients and/or cost share: at least one month prior to due date.
- Finalized files: at least five business days prior to the sponsor deadline.
