This cohort was made up of strong aspiring entrepreneurs, who shared their very interesting business ideas with the training team. The training included sessions on ideation, development of business plans, product value proposition, market research, marketing strategies, the legalities associated with a new business as well as basic financial planning. On 8 July the participants put their pitching skills to the test when they were given an opportunity to do a short pitch in front of other participants, trainers and businesses coaches. Comprehensive feedback was given to the aspiring entrepreneurs to help them make their presentations to be even better in the future. After this initial training phase, the participants will now move on to the Launch Mentorship phase, where they will benefit from 12 hours of one-to-one coaching by our experienced business mentors. The next training opportunity is going to be later in the year, and fo r those that are interested in being part of this next cohort, please send us an email to myidea@coventry.ac.uk to express your interest, or for any other question that you might have about our Launch Programme.
