Meet Seana Parker-Dalton – a founding member of the No Kill Louisville Spay/Neuter Committee. She began volunteering in 2010 shortly after her husband was stationed at Ft. Knox.
“I worked for a spay neuter organization in Jacksonville, so I was very excited to Find NKL and started volunteering when Jack [her husband] returned from deployment,” Seana told us.
As a member of the spay/neuter committee Seana helped organize our first 28 Days of Spay program which spay/neutered more than 520 community pets; worked to raise funds in support of spay/neuter efforts; made lots of phone calls to community leaders; and designed several logos to promote the committee’s work.
Seana is moving to Missouri soon with her three children, Stella, 7, Julian, 4, and Trixie, 9 months; her three furry children, Django, 8, Sweet Pea, 4, and Malcolm, 3 who is an Louisville Metro Animal Services’ alum that fostered by a NKL volunteer; and her husband, Jack.
She has played an integral part in making the spay/neuter committee’s efforts a success. She will be sorely missed by all of us at No Kill Louisville. Thank you, Seana, for sharing your gifts and bringing us closer to a No Kill community.
