COVID-19 Updates

To ensure everyone’s safety, CRMC continues to screen all those entering its facilities and is requiring everyone to wear a mask. Anyone age 5 and older may obtain a COVID-19 vaccination at the Crosby Clinic. COVID booster shots are also available. Call 218-546-7462 to schedule an appointment.

 

Amy Hart Named CEO

Following an extensive search process, CRMC’s Board of Directors in February selected Amy Hart of the Brainerd Lakes Area as CEO to lead its staff of more than 1,000 and manage a budget of $154 million. An accomplished healthcare leader, Hart had been serving as Interim CEO the last year in addition to her COO position which she has held for the past nine years.

CRMC was named one of the best hospitals in the United States by Newsweek magazine in its annual “World’s Best Hospitals” ranking released in March; one of 14 Minnesota hospitals to make the ranking, landing at 352nd.

Visitor Restrictions Lifted

CRMC has lifted its patient visitor restrictions that have been in place during the recent surge of COVID-19 illness and is now allowing limited visitors at all locations.

Super One Clinic Plans August 1 Opening

CRMC’s newest services now being constructed inside of the new Crosby Super One store being built at the intersection of Highway 210 and County Road 31 is scheduled to open on August 1. Plans are for the clinic and pharmacy to be open extended hours Monday through Saturday for easy access to services.

 

New Weight Loss Class Offered for Women

Sassy Sisterhood—the Journey to a Healthier You, a new women’s weight loss and lifestyle change program that includes educational classes taught by physicians and other medical professionals as well as group support, is now being offered by CRMC’s Medical Weight Management program.

Tournament Planned to Benefit Hospice

Driving for Hospice, a charity golf tournament to benefit area hospice patients will be Friday, June 17, at Cuyuna Rolling Hills Golf Course in Deerwood. Hospice provides compassionate care and dignity for terminally ill people and supports their loved ones with comfort when time matters most.
