To access your receipt once you have paid the invoice, please wait 3-5 days after paying before going back to the invoice link. Once the funds have been received, a “paid’ notice will appear, and you can download it as a receipt. If the invoice is still outstanding, please email nysf@nysf.edu.au to check if the funds have been received.

Rotary funding

Rotary is a fantastic source of financial support for participants of the NYSF Year 12 Program. We recommend reaching out to your local Rotary Club to see if they may be able to assist. If you have trouble getting in contact with your local Rotary Club or if you need to discuss anything else related to your program fee payment, please contact us.

Book your travel and complete the student travel details form

Once your place in the program is confirmed we encourage you to book your travel. We encourage families to consider taking out travel insurance to cover any unexpected emergencies or changes to your plans due to illness/personal events. Please note, the NYSF is unable to provide any recommendations or advice on travel insurance.

You should arrive on the first day of your session between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. and depart on the last day between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. If you will need to arrive or depart outside of these times, please contact the NYSF to discuss at nysf@nysf.edu.au.

If you are planning to drive yourself to and from the Program, please note that no parking is available at the residences for participants. You will need to arrange your own (likely paid) parking elsewhere. NYSF takes no responsibility for private vehicles during the Program.

Once your travel is confirmed, please complete the Student Travels Details form. This will let us know when to expect you, and for students not travelling via car, it allows us to coordinate shuttle buses to meet and transport you from Brisbane International and Canberra Airports, and major train and bus stations to your accommodation.

Please complete this form by 19 November 2025.

STEM Visit announcements are officially here!

The announcements you've all been waiting for have finally arrived: STEM Visits! STEM Visits are a core part of the NYSF Year 12 Program and are a fantastic way for you to explore groundbreaking STEM and meet the professionals making it happen. Check out some of the STEM Visits you might attend during the program below 👇

Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex

The Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex is a part of NASA's Deep Space Network, and one of only three facilities in the world that provides 24/7 two-way radio contact with dozens of robotic spacecraft exploring the solar system and beyond.

NYSFers attending this visit will learn about the important role that Australia plays in space exploration and the careers that you can pursue in this exciting field. They'll see the giant antenna dishes which dominate the site that send commands and receive data from spacecraft located 100s of millions to billions on kilometres from Earth.

UQ Intergrated Pathology Learning Centre

The Integrated Pathology Learning Centre (IPLC) provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with a variety of diseases. NYSFers attending this visit will participate in workshops that explore the underlying pathology of health issues and disease prevention. They'll investigate the impact of behavioural and environmental factors on health while critically examining contemporary health attitudes.
