Connect with Candidates in State Senate and Representative Races on July 15 & July 20
Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) and The Hub CoWorks are pleased to hold these mixer-style events, which aim to offer Rutland's business community a chance to get together with candidates running to represent Rutland County in State Senate and Representative primaries. This is not a campaign event, and there is no formal presentation - this is an opportunity for business owners to share pain points and
ideas with those seeking to represent them at the State level.
We will be holding two sessions: Wednesday, July 15 from 8:00 - 10:00 AM and Monday, July 20 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Sessions will be held in the Workforce in Motion Streetside Conference Center at The Hub CoWorks, 67 Merchants Row, First Floor, in Downtown Rutland. Both sessions are free of charge and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. While these events are open to all, we do ask that you please RSVP to help us plan accordingly for these sessions. We hope to see you there.

Fifth Annual Whoopie Pie Festival Returns to Downtown Rutland on September 12
The Fifth Annual Whoopie Pie Festival, hosted by Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region, returns to Rutland this fall on Saturday, Sept. 12, from noon to 4:00 PM. The event expects to bring around 8,000 community residents and visitors to the area together for a full day of family-friendly activities! Rutland’s Whoopie Pie Festival debuted in 2022 and
brought over 2,500 people downtown — after the COVID-19 pandemic had paused so many large events in our region and across the globe. By the second annual event in 2023, attendance had doubled to around 5,000. Last year’s Whoopie Pie Festival attracted around 8,000 people, and a similar-sized crowd is expected to attend this year. Over the last four years, this event has become a signature event in our community. Bakers participate from all over New England — Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont are already represented. Spots are limited and will fill up quickly, so interested bakers are encouraged to register as soon as possible for this year’s festival by visiting www.rutlandwhoopiepiefest.com/bakers.
