California Law Day at the Capitol Highlight

California LAW Pathways hosted Law Day at the Capitol on March 15, 2023. In attendance were four high schools and three community colleges. Students heard from the keynote speaker Rosielyn A. Pulmano, Chief Consultant, California State Assembly Committee on Health. In addition, each school group were prompted to set an appointment with representatives from their region. This gave students the opportunity to meet with an elected official, learn how to lobby, practice their advocacy skills, and understand the legislative process.
