Kingi's thought-provoking visual album explores an existential life experience. Unitec carpooling app gains national attention A carpooling app developed at Unitec has gained national attention after appearing on TV3's The Project NZ last week. Unitec School of Creative Industries design lead Cris de Groot and members of his team were interviewed about Uniwaka's features. The app will soon be available to all students and staff after a successful testing phase. PASA first year students embrace Unitec values First year Unitec Performing and Screen Arts students immersed themselves in Unitec’s Te Noho Kotahitanga values during their two-day Wananga at Ngakau Mahaki last week. The enriching experience culminated today with a hikoi around Unitec’s Mt Albert campus, waiata and group performance presentations. Unitec Creative Industries staff exhibition closes The closing of The Space Between Us exhibition curated by Dr Dorita Hannah, Dr Becca Wood and Gina Ferguson took place last Thursday, 14 April. Guests were welcomed on to Unitec's Marae, Ngakau Mahaki which was then followed by a symposium featuring research presentations by Unitec staff. Guests and staff then made their way to the exhibition space at Gallery One, Building 76 for the closing of the exhibition which has been running since 18 March. The exhibition featured work by 14 Creative Industries staff members exploring the conceptual and physical spaces between the design & contemporary arts and performing and screen arts disciplines. |
