Click here April 2024 Chief Executive ForewordThis month, I am pleased to announce that as part of our commitment to continuous improvement, the Education Standards Board will conduct a feedback survey for all South Australian Approved Providers, on their regulatory experiences. The survey will be released on our behalf by ACECQA and gives us the opportunity to reflect on our engagement with the sector and provide insights into our progress against the Royal Commission recommendation related to improving the ESB. As part of our commitment to reforming how we regulate and to increase our engagement with the sector, we have held our first Regulatory Roundtable meeting. We established the Roundtable as part of a broader Provider Engagement Model, to foster a more collaborative regulatory environment that supports the achievement of our regulatory outcomes and the sector’s ability to voluntarily comply with its obligations. I look forward to bringing you a summary of the Roundtable’s first meeting in the May bulletin. Also next month, in partnership with ACECQA, we will host four face-to-face Exceeding themes workshops. Resources about Exceeding practice, including a recording of a workshop will be made available to all providers. Other articles this month cover: application processing timelines, the new Autism Inclusion Charter, a reminder on emergency evacuation procedures, and further
details on the Early Childhood Education and Care Survey.
