Click here As the school year concludes, we pause to reflect on the year that was and all that was accomplished, despite the constant changing conditions that we all found ourselves working and living with. Our students, particularly Year 12, have done well to be able to continue their learning and be successful, despite the challenges they faced. What was able to be achieved and enjoyed at CHHS this year, was outlined by students from each Year cohort at the Annual Awards Assembly and the Year 12 Graduation last week, which also celebrated the academic successes of many. Student achievements throughout the year are also detailed in our school magazine, Delphis, which is hot off the presses this week. The finale to last week was an out of uniform day for a subdued Pink and Blue Day where funds raised, $450 are donated to support Men and Women’s Cancer. There was also a sausage sizzle provided for all students on the day and hopefully we will see a return to the usual event in 2022. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your help, support, and interest during the year. We have had a different year, but have met the challenges with positivity, and you, as partners in the education of your children, deserve much of the credit for that. Many thanks also go to our students, student leaders, teaching and non-teaching staff, members of the P&C and our broader community. It is the support of the entire school community that helps make our school a great place to connect, succeed and thrive. For those leaving CHHS this year, both staff and students, I would like to wish you all the best for the future. I look forward to working with all the members of our school community next year to keep working in collaboration and cooperation to further improve and build on a range of positive learning outcomes for our students. The school will be open on Monday 24 January and Tuesday 25 January for enquiries, as will the uniform shop from 8.30am to 2.30pm on each of those days.
