10 April 2026Seeking EPIC member subscription confirmations for 2026-2027This is to let you know that I am now seeking EPIC member subscription confirmations for the 2026–2027 EPIC subscription year, which begins on 1 July 2026. The deadline for EPIC members to complete and return their subscription confirmation forms is 5.00pm, Friday 29 May 2026. To help you with this process, please refer to the EPIC member subscription confirmation section of EPIC – a guide for member libraries. This section outlines the annual subscription confirmation process and includes links to download a 2026–2027 EPIC subscription confirmation form to complete on behalf of your organisation. Please note that if a signed subscription confirmation form is not received by EPIC by the deadline, your organisation’s EPIC subscriptions for the 2025–2026 subscription year will be cancelled, and vendors will be notified to discontinue access to the subscribed resources. Guidance on accessing information about EPIC subscription options and pricing is available in the How to access information about EPIC subscription options section of EPIC – a guide for member libraries. Pricing information can be accessed from thesecure section of the EPIC pricing and sub-licence agreements page on the National Library website using your authorised EPIC account . You may also find it helpful to refer to previous editions of the EPIC Update Newsletter, available from the EPIC Update Newsletter Archive. Updates published from 20 February 2026 onwards include information that may support you in completing your subscription confirmation. And, finally, a reminder that EPIC is providing currency relief to members in 2026–2027 by setting minimum exchange rates in advance. These rates will be applied to the NZ$ conversion of foreign currency components on EPIC invoices. The EPIC Update 18 March 2026 provides more information about this, including the minimum exchange rates that will be applied. If you have any questions or would like clarification at any stage, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by emailing epic@dia.govt.nz. Hei konā maiPaula Banks - EPIC Manager |
