Learn about upcoming housing community of practice meetings, trainings, and updates to the Housing Hub & Directory. Following feedback from participants and stakeholders, Refugee Housing Solutions has reimagined its housing community of practice offerings. Meetings will no longer be based on region but will focus on a different relevant, timely topic each month. Meetings will take place twice monthly, with the next taking place on Tuesday, November 12 and Thursday, November 14. Participants can expect to learn and engage with peers across the housing and refugee resettlement spaces as we discuss top-of-mind topics and initiatives to support better housing and integration outcomes. This month, we will discuss the Federal government’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), its requirements, and how to enroll newcomers in this energy-saving program.
