Registering your engagement channels with Te Pūkenga

Kia ora koutou, e colleagues

As you know, we have been asking anyone who has a channel of engagement or is working with Te Pūkenga to register it with TPEngagement@unitec.ac.nz. This is ongoing - not tied to the current Te Pūkenga Operating Model engagement.

The purpose for recording this information is to enable us to pull together a register of these channels and share them so that our whole Unitec and MIT whānau have visibility and can link in as appropriate. That register is now available to you on The Nest.

You will note that there are two main components. The first is a Collaboration register that focuses on the various steercos and working groups working on unified national programmes. The second is a register of a broader range of points of engagement, including secondments, other working groups etc. It’s really great to see our people getting involved in helping establish Te Pūkenga. Thank you!

COVID Humour 😊

Just because…

  • Put a few Get Well cards on your mantle. That way, when we are allowed to have people in our houses again, they will think you’ve been sick and unable to clean.
  • Lockdown got me reflecting. I’m not superstitious…but I am a little stitious.
  • I went to the pantry looking for food. All I found was ingredients.
  • In order to be number one you have to be odd.
  • We’re all doing our bit. If you think you are too small to make a difference, you have never been in the dark with a mosquito.
  • I was going to end this email with a time-traveling joke – but you didn’t like it.

Have a great short week everyone.

Ngā mihi
