Rutland County Pride Center won the 2024 Real Rutland Feud this year!

The Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region is excited to host the 2024 CEDRR Business Show on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Promote your business or organization to potential new customers and make important connections within the Rutland County community!

Join us at the Rutland Recreation Community Center from 4:00 pm–7:00 pm. Exhibitor set-up will begin at 2:00 p.m. From 4:00 pm–5:00 p.m., network with other participating businesses and organizations. The show opens to the public at 5:00 p.m.

Build America Buy America Informational Session

On March 27 from 9:00-11:00 a.m., the Department of Housing and Community Development will provide a web-based informational session to overview the implementation of Build America, Buy America (BABA) in Vermont.

All residential development, construction, building trades, and building contractor professionals are encouraged to attend. Construction industry service providers such as design, architecture, engineering, and legal professionals should also be prepared to support BABA implementation on federally funded projects.

Call for Nominations: 2024 Preservation Awards

Since 1982, the Preservation Trust has recognized outstanding efforts in the field of historic preservation.

Awards are presented to individuals, groups, and organizations who have made exemplary contributions to saving and preserving Vermont’s built environment and cultural landscapes. Examples represent a broad range of activities, including remarkable preservation or adaptive use of a historic property, creation of new educational materials and programs, innovations in building trades and professional training, outstanding long-term stewardship of a historic property, generous financial support, and special leadership in community building through preservation.

If you know of a person, group of people, or a project deserving of an award, they encourage you to apply soon!
