Job interview heat map - legal sector's hottest and coldest slots

Sometimes, no matter how good someone is, how well prepared they are, it just comes down to the luck of the draw. 

We looked back at nearly 3,000 legal sector job interviews that took place over the last 12 months and found out which days and times were generating the most positive outcomes.         

The results were staggering. Some interview slots are so cold candidates and decision makers might be better off swerving them altogether.

Change management - Brad Duncan, Head of Legal and Compliance at the Carbon Trust

Brad Duncan is Head of Legal and Company Secretary for the Carbon Trust.

Originally qualified in NSW, Australia Brad began his career as a Solicitor at Mallesons in 1998 before moving to Linklaters in London in 2001 where he was a Managing Associate in the structured finance group..

Brad moved to Citigroup’s General Counsel’s Office in 2006 where he stayed until he moved to the Carbon Trust in 2015.

We caught up with Brad who kindly provided some insight into his current role and professional and personal motivators.

   
   

Arena Attack Pro Bono Panel

Following Monday night's Manchester Arena attack Manchester Law Society are co-ordinating a pro bono advice rota.

The Society is looking for firms who are willing to give pro bono advice and free representation to to seriously injured people to assist with CICA claims and bereaved families to assist with CICA claims and inquests.
