Reuse and Recycle

Micro-recycling Textile and Apparel Hub (Opshop Project)

Circulanation, a registered Australian charity, is requesting support for the development of a Textile Reuse and Recycling Hub in Cairns. The project is currently in the planning phase and requires land in the Cairns region to develop a business case. This case will support future investment in the construction and implementation phases of the project.

They are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from landowners interested in exploring the potential of developing their land or upgrading existing assets to facilitate this project. The Textile Reuse and Recycling Hub aims to support the expansion of the Remote Op Shop Project – a sustainability initiative that benefits First Nations communities in remote Australia.

Circulanation welcomes EOIs from Traditional Owner groups, organisations, companies, and individuals, or impact investors.
