Julia Wootton Oath and Affirmation: Spoken te reo Māori recordings now availableWe let you know about the new versions of the oath and affirmation on 12 September 2022 and later on 2 November 2022, we encouraged councils to whakatairangahia te oati rauranga i te reo Māori for those people that would prefer to take their oath in te reo Māori. What's new: Spoken recordings now availableTo assist councils with the correct pronunciation of te reo Māori, spoken recordings of the oath and affirmation are now available at www.govt.nz/browse/passports-citizenship-and-identity/nz-citizenship/how-to-apply-for-nz-citizenship/citizenship-ceremonies/. You can find the two recordings under the heading "During the ceremony".
