Welcome to the Spring Edition of SPARK

This spring brings significant milestones and fresh impetus as Minerva Business Angels starts its fourth decade focused on connecting ambitious Midlands start-ups with smart investors. This approach is expanding a more diverse investor base and significant growth in the quantum and quality of innovative early-stage businesses seeking investment.

The Ignite Alumni Network continues to support a flourishing community of collaborative founders sharing insights, challenges and breakthroughs. The latest event enabled participants to apply DF4Labs AI to create production-ready software in real time. This DF4Labs-Ignite collaboration typifies the innovation we strive to deliver.

This edition highlights inspiring tenant success stories, including Simple Bytes’ expansion at Binley Business Innovation Centre and StayForWork’s rapid scale-up at Blythe Valley Innovation Centre. Both embody the entrepreneurial ambition and resilience that define our community.

Alongside these achievements, and by no means least, University of Warwick’s bold Set the Pace campaign signals a new chapter for global impact, research excellence and inclusive opportunity with corporates like TATA who are also part of our community.

We hope you enjoy this edition!
