Keep up-to-date with what's been going on at Highgate Hill House School! Headteacher updateHello all, I hope, that like us, you have been able to make the most of this glorious weather. We are taking every opportunity we can to get out and about to enjoy the sunshine! We even managed a delicious lunch out in the school garden all dressed in red, in aid of Comic Relief on Red Nose Day. March has been a particularly creative month for the children, from Pingu pottery to salt dough Roman runes, wild garlic scones to bucket hats and sand art. It never ceases to amaze me....the imagination of our staff and pupils knows no bounds! We have recently signed off the 2022/23 term dates (the link to which you can find further down in this email), so if you are looking to make plans for the coming academic year then please do take a look. We have also included a link to the Active Cornwall 'Time2Move' holiday programme below, which offers a range of exciting activities during the main school holidays (free of charge to children in receipt of Free School Meals). Finally, Covid-19 continues to work its way around our school community, so please do continue to keep an eye out for symptoms, test as necessary and inform the school of any positive results as soon as possible. Thank you all once again for your commitment to our wonderful school. Spring has definitely started to Spring now and I was delighted to see that you were making the most of the spring sunshine by having lunch outside and supporting red nose day to help people live free from poverty, violence and discrimination, including people suffering right now in Ukraine, who we all stand by. Thank you all once again for everything that you do for the school and I hope you all have plans in place for enjoying a well deserved Easter break when it comes!
