The goal: to give players exposure to elite competition, build team spirit, and test themselves on one of Australia’s biggest stages. With $70,000 in prize money and 40% of the field made up of professional bowlers, the event drew world-class names like Aron Sherriff, Kelsey Cottrell, Aaron Teys, Dawn Hayman, Ben Twist, Leif Selby, Carl Healey and Nathan Black. From the moment the team arrived, the scale was clear — from the state-of-the-art clubhouse to the Calcutta draw that revealed a stacked field. Results didn’t fall our way, but the team competed hard, often pushing matches to the wire despite the challenge of jumping from a New Zealand winter into tough Australian conditions. For emerging players Liam Hill and Davey Motu especially, the experience was invaluable — a true stepping stone in their development. The campaign delivered exactly what we hoped for: a tough test, plenty of lessons, and a boost to team camaraderie that will serve the club well moving forward. ![]() Ready, Set...Rapid Roll Triples - Entries OpenRapid Roll Triples is coming – three weeks of action-packed bowls.
