In Memoriam

It is with deep sadness that the Synod staff share the news that our dear friend and colleague, Suzie Hodson, passed away last Thursday. Suzie has been a valued member of the Financial Services Team since October 2014. She was a trusted ally and friend to many in the Resources Team and the wider Synod team

Her unassuming style, sense of fun and no-fuss attitude will be truly missed.

Suzie was diagnosed with cancer in April of this year, and despite extensive treatment, she passed away peacefully, with her husband Martin, and children Georgia and Mitchell at her bedside.

May she rest in peace.

Reflection

In the midst of confusion, and the bustling and babbling of life around me, I, too, have cried out in anxiety, then courage, seeking direction, connection, and help. And Jesus heard. My fear, disquiet, confusion, lack of insight and procrastination were resolved. I had to admit when I could not see, nor understand.
