After a transition year in 2023 for the two national Approved Learning Frameworks under the National Quality Framework, you must now demonstrate that you are using these documents to inform your program and practice. In February, the Change Management Panel, established in response to one of the recommendations made by the Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care and adopted by the government, will formally commence. The Panel will work alongside the Board and my role to undertake work on behalf of the ESB to drive regulatory reform, with the goal of improving the ESB’s effectiveness in fulfilling its statutory functions. The Panel will be chaired by Trevor Lovegrove, who had a significant role in addressing recommendations from the Debelle Inquiry. Trevor has a law enforcement background and is currently a member of the Parole Board of South Australia.
