What area does the Temple Police Patrol?
Temple Police patrols the area between 9th Street to the east and 18th Street to the west and from Susquehanna Avenue to the north and Jefferson Avenue to the south. An additional patrol area between 13th Street to the east and Broad Street to the west extends south to Girard Avenue to include the Temple Sports Complex. See the full Main Campus patrol area.
How can my student stay informed about incidents in Temple’s patrol area?
TUalerts communicate information about an incident on or near Temple’s campuses that presents an imminent threat and/or is deemed an emergency requiring immediate action. TUalerts are sent via text message and email to Temple students and employees. Alert information for the general public is also posted on Temple University's Twitter feed.

Want to ensure your child starts on the right foot? Encourage them to look at Stat for Success! It's free!
The Stat for Success program was created is to help prepare incoming Fox School students for a successful first year in their quantitative classes and to connect them with valuable Fox and University resources. The content from this short 2-week virtual program will set students up for success in the fall and beyond.
Applications are open and enrollment is limited to the first 200 students. Encourage your student to apply today!
Dates:
- July 18 - July 29
Program:
- 6 to 8 hours per week dedicated to refreshing math skills; some synchronous online sessions with Dr. Darin Kapanjie, Master Teacher for Statistics 1001.
Highlights:
- Interaction with faculty, Deans and other Fox students.
- Potential to test out of any preparatory math class your student may have initially tested into during placement testing.
Cost:
- FREE and all materials will be provided.
