RU OK? Day 2023

ADIA invites our leaders and their teams to stop and acknowledge RU OK? Day this Thursday, 14 September 2023 with a free presentation R U OK? - I'm here to hear, brought to you by the charity organisation, RU OK?

Australians have been through a lot in the last few years. Natural disasters, the pandemic, world events, and the increasing cost of living has added more pressure on many households and communities. That's why it's more important than ever that we look out for each other. While many things are out of our control, the one thing we can do is stay connected and be there for each other.

If you're wondering how to check in with your staff (friends or family), then don't miss this presentation commencing 12:00 pm (AEST) on Thursday, 14th September to learn how best to support those people in your world who might be struggling with life’s ups and downs.  You don’t need to be an expert to have an R U OK? conversation. Listening and giving someone your time might be just what they need to help them through. Asking R U OK? is the first step, but you also need to genuinely listen to what comes next.

Register here to hear R U OK? CEO, Katherine Newton and special guests share conversation tips and personal stories. Please share the invitation link with anyone you think would benefit from hearing valuable insights and learning when and how to ask R U OK? and start a meaningful conversation that could change a life.

R U OK? has also released resources, tips and ideas to help you drive genuine change in your workplace, school and community.  R U OK? is calling on all of us to let the people you care about know you're here, to really hear them.  By taking the time for an R U OK? conversation and genuinely listening with an open mind, we can all help the people in our world feel supported and connected.

Are they really OK? Ask them today.
