Upcoming webinar: Towards a comprehensive child mental health system: Opportunities for a coordinated system of support
Wednesday 25 February 2026, 10:00 – 11:30 am (AEDT)
Families engage with a range of workforces and systems every day, with many playing a role in supporting children’s mental health. While access to specialist care is important, there are great benefits to expanding opportunities to reach children and families earlier in their journey and respond to concerns in a coordinated way.
In this free webinar, Emerging Minds Program Director, Brad Morgan, and Chief Advisor, Policy and Impact, Dr Melinda Goodyear, will talk through findings from recent research projects and explore ways to build a coordinated system of support for infants, children and families.

Practical strategies to support culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
‘I recently completed your course to fulfill my organisation’s professional development (PD) related to supporting CALD communities. It was refreshing to complete PD that was so relevant to my clinical caseload, with practical strategies to incorporate into my sessions and an easy-to-follow format. I’m now looking forward to completing more PD hours!’
We loved getting this feedback from a speech pathologist who recently completed our Understanding children’s mental health in culturally diverse communities course.
Emerging Minds has created a learning pathway with two free online courses for practitioners seeking to learn more about how to support CALD children, families and communities – and complete PD hours!
If you have feedback about any of our learning pathways or online courses, please email us at marcomms@emergingminds.com.au.
