Praise God for the work He’s been doing to reach members of the Deaf community through HOPE’s partners, as seen in the life of Tafadzwa Gutu. Tafadzwa is a skilled carpenter in Zimbabwe but faced challenges. He joined a church-based savings group, along with others who live with various speech and hearing disabilities. Together, they received training and saved to grow their businesses. Tafadzwa eventually earned enough income to finish building his house, and, through studying the Bible with his group, he came to know Christ!
Pray for ROMCOM, HOPE’s microfinance partner in Romania since 2008, and the entrepreneurs they serve, as the country faces significant economic challenges. With growing concerns about a recession, that is tasked with tackling these issues. Ask God to help these leaders be successful and pray for ROMCOM and their clients as they attempt to grow their businesses and repay loans during tougher economic times.
