First of all, we hope you are spending a great summer!
The first 6 months of 2023 were busy for EUPAVE with the organisation of our webinar on "Compaction of Concrete", our Best Practices workshop on "Outdoor industrial and heavy-duty concrete pavements" and, of course, the 14th International Symposium on Concrete Roads held from 25 to 28 June 2023 in Krakow, Poland. EUPAVE is not slowing down and the next 4 months will be marked by the organisation of EUPAVE/FEBELCEM joint workshop during Matexpo 2023 (further information below), our workshop during the World Road Congress in Prague and our annual EU Debate at the European Parliament (info to be released within the next weeks).

Share of experiences, research results and new developments during the 14th International Symposium on Concrete Roads
The Symposium was held from 25 to 28 June 2023 in Krakow, Poland. The motto of this edition, “Concrete Roads to the Green World” was present throughout the programme. In addition to the classic technical themes such as design, materials, construction and applications, a lot of attention was paid to sustainability themes like the European Green Deal, circular construction and the economic and social aspects of concrete roads.
Norm Cement joins EUPAVE!
We are glad to announce Norm Cement has joined EUPAVE as Associate Member. Norm Cement is the largest cement plant in the South Caucasus, with a production capacity of 5,300 tons of clinker per day and 2.1 million tons of cement per year.
Invitation to EUPAVE/FEBELCEM workshop "Innovative Case-Studies on Concrete Paving" at Matexpo 2023
EUPAVE & FEBELCEM have the pleasure of inviting you to their joint workshop during MATEXPO2023, with theme “Innovative Case-Studies on Concrete Paving”. The workshop will be held Thursday 7 September from 9:00.Four EUPAVE members and concrete machine manufactures – GOMACO, POWERCURBERS, SOMERO & WIRTGEN – will present you innovative practices, interesting experiences at jobsites and recent developments in concrete paving.
EUPAVE Annual Report 2022 is out!
The Annual Report provides an excellent overview of the work and objectives of EUPAVE in 202. We are pleased that we can look back positively on this year and see that our effort have been fruitful.
EUPAVE and ISCP hold joint meeting at the 14th International Symposium on Concrete Roads
"ISCP and EUPAVE are two organizations with similar goals, both active in the concrete paving sector. Both organizations have been working together since the creation of EUPAVE in 2007 and have signed a Memorandum of Agreement in 2015."
