Assessment season is in full swing, and it's very important to keep on top of study, but breaks are just as necessary!
There are plenty of events, festivals and opportunities coming up to help you unwind - from the Take a Break Festival, to a huge number of Mental Health Awareness month events, and the Art of the Possible Festival, there's plenty happening on and off campus.
Find all the details below, and remember that you're not a robot, and even though study is important, it's just as important to give yourself permission to relax.

Mindfulness packs with International Student Support
Are you an international student? Why not create your own mindfulness pack with International Student Support as part of Mental Health Awareness month? With pop ups at Waite, Roseworthy and AHMS, find full details on the Wellbeing Hub and take a break to look after your wellbeing.
Level 1 North of the Barr Smith Library is currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment - meaning there will be no access to Level 1 North from now until early December 2022. Level 1 South continues to be open as normal. Find more information and details about movement of collections here.
If so, the University is reviewing these programs and would love to hear from you! To attend a 20-30 minute group interview on 27 October (or if you have any questions about the process) please contact Education Quality.

Join us in celebrating student and international creativity with the Art of the Possible Festival! Free and open to the general public, there are plenty of excellent events including live music, eSports summit, incredible exhibitions and plenty more.

'Thinking Postgraduate?' Expo tomorrow
20 October, 2:30pm to 5:30pm - Hub Central
Want to specialise in your existing field of study or change careers altogether? Drop by anytime from 2:30pm to 5:30pm to chat with faculty staff and academics about Postgraduate program opportunities. Program Leaders will also be delivering presentations on the day, so register now to attend these.
Diwali Celebration on campus
25 October, 5pm to 8pm - Maths Lawns, North Terrace Campus
You are invited to join this free Diwali Celebration, with food trucks, performers, music, ceremony, and LIGHTS! Diwali is a festival of lights and one of the major festivals celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists in communities across different parts of the world. Register online here.

Don’t miss this exciting Space Week event, with the opportunity to meet former Director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Professor Charles Elachi! Sign up for his panel to learn more about upcoming missions into space, including Martian helicopters and the James Webb Space Telescope.
Join astronomer Fred Watson and space policy researcher Marco Aliberti at the upcoming 'Diplomacy at the Bar' event, hosted by the Australian Institute of International Affairs.
