The spirit of Dr. Fu's vision was on full display during the premiere of FuNomenial, the new documentary celebrating his extraordinary life and legacy.

On Thursday, September 10, more than 300 guests gathered at the UPMC Club at Acrisure Stadium for an unforgettable evening. Friends, family, colleagues and former trainees came together to reflect on the profound impact Dr. Fu had on their lives and careers.

The event featured remarks from department chair Dr. MaCalus V. Hogan, University of Pittsburgh Chancellor Emeritus Mark Nordenberg and the film's director, Emmai Alaquiva, Director, President + CEO of Ya Momz House, before culminating in the premiere screening of the documentary.

The evening served as a powerful reminder that Dr. Fu's influence continues to inspire the future of orthopaedics, sports medicine, research, and patient care.
