CEO report
Stand Like Stone is a leader in the community philanthropy sector and it has been a privilege to witness the strong support for our foundation during my first three months in the chief executive role.
Swinging With The Stars delivered a gala spectacle and outstanding $211,000 fundraising result in June - it was wonderful to be involved!
This was followed with new and renewed commitments from sponsors to sustain our operations.
Now, our attention turns to utilising income earned from investing 20 years of fundraising and distributing the resulting income to support the Limestone Coast community through grants and scholarships
Thanks to your generosity, we have more to give back than ever before to allow our young people to thrive in education, overcome barriers for country people and support community projects and causes to enhance the resilience and wellbeing of our people and communities.
I am still getting to know many of our supporters, including sponsors and sub-fund committees, and loving every opportunity to explore what has been achieved through the collaborative work of the foundation and what more can be delivered to strengthen our region.
Hopefully I meet many more of you at our Year in Review celebrations at Mount Gambier City Hall on the evening of November 27, with more detail and invitations to come as planning progresses.
You will also hear from me before too long about another big charity event at The Barn on November 8 when Variety SA visits the Limestone Coast as part of the Moto Run and is looking to partner with us on some exciting initiatives.
I look forward to keeping you up to date on further initiatives to increase the impact of Stand Like Stone - together we can continue to make a difference in the Limestone Coast.

Outstanding result for Stand Like Stone's annual charity fundraising event
The Stand Like Stone Foundation was delighted to once again host the annual Swinging With The Stars charity fundraiser at The Barn on Saturday, June 28.
With over 550 people attending this year’s gala event, the crowd danced the night away supporting their local stars, raising a whopping $211,000+ for the Stand Like Stone Foundation.

15 years of service to the Limestone Coast
We are celebrating 15 years of outstanding service by our superstar grants and accounts coordinator Sally Bailey!
Sally has held many roles over her time with the foundation, but maintained a commitment throughout to achieving positive outcomes for the people of the Limestone Coast.
She demonstrates the Stand Like Stone values of KINDNESS and COURAGE and we couldn’t achieve all that we do without her.

Region joins national women's housing solutions discussion
Stand Like Stone Foundation CEO Jason Wallace provided a regional perspective as part of the national discussion on Gender-Wise Housing Investments at Adelaide Town Hall in August.
The SA Roundtable was hosted by Australians Investing In Women as part of a series of state forums bringing together leaders from across philanthropy, government, services and other sectors to connect, discuss systemic barriers to housing for women, provide insights and explore potential solutions.
Jason’s trip to Adelaide was supported by Community Foundations Australia, bringing representation from the sector to the table as we continue to elevate regional voices and explore opportunities to increase our impact with and for communities.
