LEADERSHIP TEAM ELECTED FOR 2023

Dear ADIA Members,

Thank you to the many members who attended our recent Annual General Meeting. It was an impressive turnout (both in the room and online) and a great show of industry support; returning to the 'new normal' certainly has its benefits.  I also trust you enjoyed hearing from our special guest speaker, Katie Rigg-Smith, Chief Strategy Officer at WPP, who generously shared her story and insights about leading through change.

I am delighted to announce the following office bearers were elected unopposed at the AGM for a one-year term:

  • George Zdanowicz, CEO, Enhance Research, elected for a fourth year as President
  • Josephine Foti, CEO, Wallis Social Research, steps up to the Vice President position after two years as Secretary
  • Sarah Wrigley, Founder & Director, Gundabluey Research, is Treasurer for the fourth year, and;
  • Martin Filz, CEO, PureProfile is Secretary.

ADIA also welcomed the appointment of Ordinary Board members: Diane Herz, CEO, The Social Research Centre; Laura Robbie, Managing Director, YouGov; Jenny Witham, Partner, Fiftyfive5; and Simon Wake, CEO, Ipsos, who are joined by long-term committee members,  Katie Ferro, CEO, CRNRSTONE and Mark Zuker, Managing Director, JWS Research.

In addition to our Board members for 2023, we are pleased to announce the following newcomers to the Advisory Committee:  Erik Heller, EY Sweeney; Tim Hunter, The Red Fox Group; Tyler Forrester, Orima Research; Julie Harris, YouGov and Paul Hoger, Enactuate.

These members represent a new wave of support at the Board and Advisory level, which is central to the longevity of the Association and a testament to previous Board Member's legacy, efforts and hard work.

Representing a broad constituency with competing needs is no easy feat. Nonetheless, our Board and Advisory Committee deliver a wealth of industry experience and represent the Association's diverse company membership across type, size and locality.

I look forward to working with these leaders over the coming year to help ensure that ADIA continues to meet our member needs across the full breadth of the industry, delivering relevant, reliable and accessible services for organisations of all sizes whilst maintaining excellent corporate governance and a high degree of transparency and accountability.

Kindest,
