Dear parent or caregiver,
This is a reminder about the upcoming Dance Showcase technical rehearsal on Tuesday, 11 June at The Glasshouse. We're excited to see the students put their routines into practice!
Important Information for the Technical Rehearsal:
Travel: Students should arrive at the normal school time to board the bus.
Only Primary RAD Classical Ballet students are required to be handed over to a teacher at the Glasshouse Theatre Stage door at 9.00am. If your child is only in Boys Dance they are not required to attend at 9.00am and they will come across later in the day by bus with the school.
All students will get a bus back to school in time for normal afternoon pick-up or bus arrangements.
Uniform: Please ensure you child is dressed in their sports uniform for the rehearsal. This includes:
- SCAS Sport shirt
- SCAS navy shorts (or navy track pants for colder weather)
- SCAS socks
- Sneakers
- Sports jacket
Lunch Arrangements:
Stage 1: Please pack a healthy lunch for your child. Students will return to school after the rehearsal and eat lunch at 12.30 pm. Please remember to include a labeled drink bottle. Canteen orders won't be available.
Stage 2 and 3: Students will need to bring a packed lunch with them in their bags. Lunch will be eaten at The Glasshouse at 12.00 pm. Unfortunately, canteen orders won't be available at the venue. Please remember to include a labeled drink bottle.
Please ensure your child has a healthy snack in their bag to eat at school prior to departure. This could be their usual fruit break and, for extra energy, an additional muesli bar, cheese and crackers, or a similar option.
Important Note: Students are not permitted to have electronic devices at The Glasshouse rehearsal day or evening
performances.
Please note that students who are not attending the evening performances need to apply for leave via email to the Head of Primary at primaryschool@scas.nsw.edu.au
We appreciate your support in making this rehearsal a success!
Please don't hesitate to contact the Performing Arts Team if you have any questions.
Kind Regards,
