New Resources Sought for Clean Energy Goals

We're soliciting bids later this month for additional wind and solar generation, energy storage systems and other resources to help us build a cleaner, greener grid. The resources will support our plan to provide more than 70 percent of our power from renewable resources and reduce carbon emissions 80 percent by 2035.

Passing Along Higher Energy Costs

TEP customers should expect higher bills due to increased energy costs. This month, the Arizona Corporation Commission approved an increase to a charge that passes along changes in the cost of fuel and purchased power.  While the actual impact will vary with usage, the change is expected to increase the average bills of residential customers with typical usage by about $4. TEP earns no profit on the charge, which is designed to avoid even larger increases later through more timely adjustments that reflect market trends. Learn more about the Purchased Power and Fuel Adjustment Charge.
