Expansive outdoor events terrace overlooking the Gap of Dunloe
An exciting development is underway at Kate Kearney's Cottage, with the creation of a multi purpose outdoor event space, overlooking one of Kerry's most iconic locations
Set against the stunning backdrop of Gap of Dunloe, this modern, flexible terrace serviced by outdoor bar and food trucks will complement the existing Irish cultural dining and entertainment experience offered inside the cottage.
Magical event space on the edge of Kenmare Bay
The Boathouse at Sheen Falls Lodge is the most unexpected of venues, offering a delightful waterside space with stone walls, glass roof and open front.
Situated just a short stroll from the hotel, with sweeping views over Kenmare Bay and the encircling mountains, it fuses heritage with contemporary comforts.
Fully restored in 2021, this original old boathouse can accommodate up to 80 guests stand up or theatre style.
Contemporary courtyard in the heart of Killarney town
The Laurels Pub has been run by the O’Leary family for four generations and is amongst the oldest pubs in Ireland.
It has expanded considerably over the past few years and with its fantastic new outdoor courtyard, it can accommodate up to 300 people throughout the venues, when utilising the Pub, the Restaurant, the Lounge and the Backyard, and is available for exclusive use.

Killarney Food Trail with a Sustainability Twist
Famous for her Kenmare Food Trail, TV Cook and Irish Food Blogger Karen Coakley is now offering a 3.5 hour Killarney Food Trail, where attendees enjoy a guided stroll through the streets of Killarney, sampling craft beer, artisan cheese, hyper-local cocktails, award-winning ice cream and tasting tour of Killarney Urban Hydroponic Farm.
Follow in the footsteps of iconic Hollywood filmmakers
In Dingle, join award-winning filmmaker and industry expert Maurice Galway on a breath-taking guided loop walk in Dún Chaoin, visiting film locations from David Lean’s iconic Ryan’s Daughter; Disney’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Far and Away starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.
Enhance the experience by combining it with a curated dinner at Dingle Skellig Hotel, where rare 8mm footage is shared, followed by live traditional music.

Kerry's regional airport is located a short drive from the towns of Killarney and Tralee and is serviced by twice daily flights from Dublin as well as frequent flights from London and Germany.
With its 2,000 metre x 45 metre runway, the airport has capacity and flexibility to take both small aircraft as well as larger jets, and provides a first class professional service for private charter, including VIP handling.

Kerry ranked as Ireland’s leading Sustainable Tourism destination in Top 20 global index
Kerry has moved up the ranks within the Global Destination Sustainability Index (GDS-Index) Top 20 to be officially recognised as the number one Sustainable Tourism destination in Ireland, and number 13 in the world overall, out of 73 destinations, across five continents.
We have recently completed our 2022 submission and look forward to sharing the results when released later in the year.
KCB is awarded Green Meetings Accreditation by Green Tourism
Green Tourism rewards responsible businesses and their Bronze/Silver/Gold awards are acknowledged worldwide as an indicator of good environmentally-friendly practice, and demonstrate an important step in getting started on the green journey.
Kerry Convention Bureau has been recognised for its achievements to SILVER level for Green Meetings certification.
