Expansive outdoor events terrace overlooking the Gap of DunloeAn exciting development is underway at Kate Kearney's Cottage, with the creation of a multi purpose outdoor event space, overlooking one of Kerry's most iconic locations Set against the stunning backdrop of Gap of Dunloe, this modern, flexible terrace serviced by outdoor bar and food trucks will complement the existing Irish cultural dining and entertainment experience offered inside the cottage. Magical event space on the edge of Kenmare BayThe Boathouse at Sheen Falls Lodge is the most unexpected of venues, offering a delightful waterside space with stone walls, glass roof and open front. Situated just a short stroll from the hotel, with sweeping views over Kenmare Bay and the encircling mountains, it fuses heritage with contemporary comforts. Fully restored in 2021, this original old boathouse can accommodate up to 80 guests stand up or theatre style.
Contemporary courtyard in the heart of Killarney townThe Laurels Pub has been run by the O’Leary family for four generations and is amongst the oldest pubs in Ireland. It has expanded considerably over the past few years and with its fantastic new outdoor courtyard, it can accommodate up to 300 people throughout the venues, when utilising the Pub, the Restaurant, the Lounge and the Backyard, and is available for exclusive use. We have recently completed our 2022 submission and look forward to sharing the results when released later in the year. KCB is awarded Green Meetings Accreditation by Green TourismGreen Tourism rewards responsible businesses and their Bronze/Silver/Gold awards are acknowledged worldwide as an indicator of good environmentally-friendly practice, and demonstrate an important step in getting started on the green journey.
