Product Update: HD-CMA - Heavy Duty Continuous Motion Autoload Cartoner
AFA Systems has designed a unique cartoner that can run in continuous and intermittent motion modes. This configuration allows the cartoner to handle high-speed single packs at 300 cartons per minute and multi-packs at a lower cartons per minute speed. The system features an AFA Delta 3 Robot that interfaces with an flighted indexing conveyor. The Delta 3 robot gears to the bucket conveyor to accurately collate pouches at 300 products per minute speeds. Standard features such as a heavy-duty frame, Allen Bradley servos and PLC, and a servo rotary feeder with prebreak are present on this system (Video ID: 453).

AFA reconditioned a manual load cartoner for a major food producer. AFA replaced the used cabinet with a NEMA 4x stainless cabinet to ensure compliance within a wet environment. AFA also installed a new Nordson ProBlue application system to ensure the customer has the latest glue application technology. These new features are just some of the work AFA can do on used systems. AFA will also ensure that the used machine runs at high efficiency before shipping to the end user's plant. The used cartoner was set up to run continuously and provided exceptional value for the end user.

The MK-LSP is a versatile cartoner that can meet your production requirements. For this application, the MK-LSP handles trays of product at 60 products per minute. The Linear Servopack System ensures that the product is always controlled through the cartoning process. Furthermore, the cartoner handles your product gently to ensure no product damage. The cartoner's main components are servo-driven, providing quick change-over and accurate fault diagnostics. Standard features are servo rotary feeding, a Nordson Problue Adhesive system, and a robust frame.
