Thanks in advance for helping to improve our sport! 👉Take the survey here Ōtāhuhu Railway steaming ahead!-- Paul Neazor The Ōtāhuhu Railway Bowling Club has taken a bold step into new territory with its first-ever Twilight competition, drawing entries from local businesses, the turnout was solid. Then there are the school group sessions. Students from McCauley, Kings College, and Mangere College learning more about our great sport. These activities strengthen our community ties and showcase the club's facilities. To support the initiative, the club secured new entry-level bowls through the Rawhiti Trust. The process was seamless—a quick application, fast approval, and a call to Bryce at Hunter Bowls had the new gear delivered within days. The impact was immediate. Five groups hit the greens in a week, with three using the fresh kit. The Twilight comp was a hit, complete with a sizzling barbecue, and a TransRail team is now set to compete in the Auckland Twilight Final. While everyone was out to do their best and battled it out on the green, it didn’t go unnoticed the teams were there to enjoy themselves in the company of family and friends, and they achieved that. Not to mention teams got pretty creative with some fantastic team costumes. Congrats to West Pepez—our grand winners!
