HB Quote & Buy Platform Update

We are really excited to announce the imminent arrival of our new quote and buy platform that offers you lots of time saving features.

To complement the excellent offline service that we strive to deliver, we felt it was only right that you experience the same level of service online. We hope that you will benefit from the more efficient and easier administering of policies so that you can spend more time serving your customers.

Introducing our new quote and buy platform

We have teamed up with software company – Total Systems – to bring you our new quote and buy platform. Total Systems develop and supply computer software products and insurance systems for insurers, MGAs and brokers alike. Through our new quote and buy platform we will be able to build future HB Underwriting products with efficiency and speed, allowing us to adapt to your and your customers' needs more quickly. Our flagship products, Rural Protect and Rural Protect Elements, are the first to launch on our new quote and buy platform, with more to follow - watch this space!

• Quotes automatically provided for higher limits of indemnity
• Employment Practices Liability cover quoted automatically, where suitable
• A Rural Protect Elements quote provided where the policyholder also qualifies for this product
• Optimised functionality with the ability to navigate through quotes quickly
• Ability to set a common renewal date with the premium automatically adjusted on a pro rata basis
• Renewals automatically emailed meaning you will no longer have to request them
• Improved automated underwriting – you will receive more instant quotes without referral or waiting
• Email reminders for policies that have not been renewed
• Instant registration for rradar's digital services – as soon as you accept cover, rradar will email the customer their registration pack
• New and existing claims will be visible to you and automatically updated on a monthly basis as the reserve changes throughout rradar's claims process

Our aim

Our primary aim with the introduction of our new quote and buy platform is to introduce more automation, making things simpler for you and your customers. This will also allow our underwriters more time to support you on more complex risks, and provide training to complement our product offering.

2023 also sees all of us needing to deliver fair value for customers; our new quote and buy platform will also help us to do this and more; this is just the start!
