A Conversation About… Suicide: Combatting the Silence
Lived-experience practitioners Jesse Sheers, India Guerrieri and Julie Rickard speak about the importance of breaking the silence and stigma around suicide. Drawing upon evidence-based theories and their own lived experience they ‘flip the script’ on common myths, offering insights on how to initiate and engage in conversations about suicide.

In The First Person: Suicidality and Bereavement
India Guerrieri and Julie Rickard share their respective stories of a suicide attempt and suicide bereavement. Listen as they provide insight into the complexities of experiencing suicidal ideation or grieving a loved one who has suicided, and how sharing their stories with each other has helped them make sense of their own experiences and led them to make a difference in the field as Lived Experience Practitioners.

Join MHPN's Guest Speaker Register
Do you have expertise in a particular area of mental health? Are you interested in being approached to present at an MHPN network meeting? MHPN invite you to join our Guest Speaker Register. An exclusive, national database that MHPN networks use to source people to present at meetings. By joining the Register, you'll open yourself up to being approached for 1-hour presentation opportunities. We are particularly interested in increasing presenters located in (or able to present online to) rural and remote networks. Please note that joining the register does not guarantee you will be approached.
