Fox student appointed to the President’s Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities
Legal studies major and North Philadelphia native, Shawn Aleong, was among 20 people appointed to "serve as a federal advisor to the President and the Secretary of Health and Human Services on matters relating to persons with intellectual disabilities." Read the statement from the White House.
Call for Leaders: Student-led, DEI-focused Book Club
The Center for Ethics, Diversity and Workplace Culture (CEDWC) at Fox and STHM will launch a book club in fall 2022, titled Between the Lines. This will be a student-led book club centered around diversity, equity and inclusion in fiction and nonfiction works. Leaders receive $300 stipend at the end of a semester.
