Prayer Request
When we ask the families we serve about their dreams, many say, “A safe home for my family.” We praise God for the men and women who have used loans from the HOPE network to build a home or make repairs and improvements. For many, this has meant having electricity or running water for the first time! Pray for our team as we develop additional housing loan products to serve even more families.
Continue to pray for Esperanza, our microfinance institution in the Dominican Republic (D.R.). Recent legislation is impacting Esperanza’s ability to serve some members of the Haitian community living in the D.R. These families, many of whom have been in the country for generations, represent a large portion of the entrepreneurs Esperanza serves. Pray for wisdom for our local team as they navigate the changing legal landscape, while still serving those in greatest need of financial empowerment.
