Weather's changing, slowly but surely, and it's starting to be the time when jackets and tea can make their appearance.

While last week was Safer Campus Community (SCC) week, you can continue keeping yourselves and the people around you safe, with the resources and training sessions available on the SCC website.

You know the drill by this point - there are plenty of awesome opportunities and events below, and there's only 2.5 weeks until mid-semester break begins (on April 11).

Compostable Catering Packs for Student Events
Free compostable catering packs are available to AUU-registered clubs for on-campus events. Packs are pre-packed for 30 attendees based on common catering needs with cups, serviettes, straws, trays, bowls and other items. Learn more on the Ecoversity website.

Free student workshops - responding to inappropriate behaviour
Knowing how to respond in an uncomfortable situation can be really challenging. There are a number of free training sessions available to students to better understand your role in responding to inappropriate behaviour. Dates for MATE Bystander training and the Brief Recognise and Respond can be found here.

'Book it' to Library Essentials
Not sure how to find the right books and journal articles for your assignments? Need some help with referencing? Enrol in Library Essentials, a MyUni course that you can complete in your own time to learn about finding and using information. To enrol, visit the Library's Training webpage.
Are you a postgraduate student in financial need?
If you're about to commence the last semester of your Honours or Postgraduate Coursework program and experiencing financial hardship, you may be eligible for an AR Riddle Grant. Find out more on the scholarships page, or contact Student Care to discuss your application. Applications close 24th March.

Learn to meditate - all students welcome!

Ira Raymond Exhibition Room (next to Ask Library in Hub Central)
Join our meditation sessions to relax, recharge, feel great and learn simple skills to help with stress management and boosting study performance. Sessions are free but must be booked in advance - find out more and book in on the event page.
 
 
Join the Student General Meeting to fight for student democracy!

Have your say about the way your university is run!
The Student General Meeting (SGM) is a mass, democratic forum for students to express opposition to faculty mergers, staff cuts, and the censoring of student clubs. More details are available here, and all students can speak and vote!

Cycling week - brunch, raffles and more!
29 and 30 March, 10am - 3pm - Hub Central western courtyard
Join Ecoversity for two days of cycling events on the North Terrace campus, and online competitions throughout the week. Activities include bike maintenance from Treadly, a Biker’s Brunch, races and raffles. Everything is free for cyclists! Find out more on the event page .
In Pieces – A new musical by Joey Contreras
1 and 2 April, various times - Space Theatre Adelaide
Set in New York City, In Pieces reflects on the romantic journeys of a group of individuals, as they look back on their chosen paths and partners along the way. These pieces come together to create a universal remembrance of what it’s like to be young and learning in love.

  • Gain internships and work experience by searching CareerHub
  • Find Graduate Jobs (apply before you graduate) with Career Services
  • Search for work at the University

The Careers team also run employer events and workshops to increase your employability, build your resume and LinkedIn profile, improve interview skills, grow your career and more.
