Budget

Students will have a base budget of 5000 tokens for Fall 2025. If you complete the MBA Stakeholder Survey, you will receive a bonus of 500 tokens for both Fall and Spring Course Match (a total of 5500 tokens each term). The bonus tokens will be added to your account before Course Match closes in August.

Holds

Students who are on hold will not be able to participate in Fall 2025 Course Match until the hold has been resolved.  Please refer to the Holds on Student Records & Accounts page on the SRFS site for information on how to resolve your hold(s).

Important note: The MBA Program cannot remove holds.  You must resolve them with the affiliated Penn office/department.

Once holds have been lifted, access to Course Match will be reinstated.

MBA Course Recommendation Guide

The MBA Course Recommendation Guide is designed to help you identify MBA courses that align with the specific job skills and competencies needed for your chosen career path. The Guide provides a personalized approach to choosing courses that best prepare you for the roles you aspire to and the learning and skills development you seek to achieve in the MBA Program.

Corporate Finance and Finance Electives

If you are interested in taking upper-level Finance electives in Fall 2025 but have not yet completed Corporate Finance (FNCE 6110), you will be permitted to place Course Match utilities on both FNCE 6110 and Finance electives. You may take FNCE 6110 and Finance elective(s) concurrently in Fall 2025. This exception applies only to second-year students and only for Fall 2025.

Prerequisite for REAL 8210

Enrollment in REAL 8210 (Real Estate Development) requires the prerequisite REAL 7210/FNCE 7210: Real Estate Investments.  Only students who have completed REAL 7210/FNCE 7210 will be permitted to place utilities on REAL 8210.  If you choose to take the requisite REAL 7210/FNCE 7210 concurrently with REAL 8210, you must contact your academic advisor by Friday, August 8 to have REAL 8210 “unlocked” in Course Match.

Registration will be verified by the add/drop deadline; students not meeting the requisite requirement will be dropped from REAL 8210.

Please consult Syllabi@Wharton for the latest syllabi information to assist with your course selection.  As always, we anticipate the possibility of changes and additions to course selections while Course Match is open.  Updates will be reflected in the system and we will be in touch regarding any changes.

Questions and Summer Advising

If you have any questions, please schedule an appointment with your academic advisor.  We will be available to assist you throughout the summer until July 25, when we will be preparing to welcome the Class of 2027.
