FINDING & KEEPING THE RIGHT STAFF
Join us for our first event in 2023, partnering with #linkedinlocal. The expert panel will be discussing one of the biggest challenges facing businesses at the moment: how to attract and retain staff. LIVE & LOCAL MUSIC INDUSTRY FORUM
Join the experts from the Live Music Office who will facilitate this 'think tank' session to support the local live music industry.
Whether you’re a musician, business or venue owner, event manager or all-round live music enthusiast, this forum is a valuable opportunity to network with the industry and council to discuss what a thriving live music scene looks like for the Coffs Coast.
Tuesday 4 April, 5.30pm-9.00pm, at C.ex Coffs International Stadium, in the new Hub 2 building
The forum is free to attend, and food and drinks will be provided.
GRANTS FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES
COFFS HARBOUR GRANT FINDER
The City of Coffs Harbour provides a free service for locals to find grants and grant writing tips. Register to be notified of specific grants for your business or organisation.
DESTINATION NSW REGIONAL EVENT FUND
This fund identifies and supports events in regional NSW that have the potential to act as a ‘cornerstone’ or flagship tourism event for their area by attracting overnight visitation and delivering long term benefits to the region.
Applications close Wednesday 29 March.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY GRANTS
The Federal Government's Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises will support businesses to upgrade or replace inefficient equipment to improve their energy efficiency.
Applications close on Wednesday 19 April.
NSW REGIONAL BUSINESS EVENT DEVELOPMENT FUND
This fund is designed to help stakeholders create, attract and support exciting business events for regional NSW and to support new business event infrastructure projects.
Applications close Friday 31 March.

TRAINING
The NSW Government's Business Connect webinar series have some upcoming sessions aimed at supporting women in business. These FREE training opportunities are presented by Enterprise Plus.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Eligible applicants include women who want to pursue their careers in financial planning, accounting, business, finance, and economics, or to further their professional development with relevant skills.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSES
Women & Leadership Australia aims to help women in select industries participate in world-class leadership courses. Four development opportunities include:: Skills for Workplace Impact, Early Career Managers, Mid-Level Managers, Senior and Executive Leaders.

COFFS COAST ON SHOW TO THE WORLD
The Coffs Coast has sensationally been awarded third place in the Global Green Destinations Story Awards in the Culture and Tradition category.
As the only Australian finalist, the Coffs Coast’s entry was Two Path Strong which celebrates Aboriginal tourism and the rich culture that has supported the establishment of the first bilingual school of an Aboriginal language in NSW – the Gumbaynggirr Giingana Freedom School (GGFS).
PITCHING FOR BUSINESS WORKSHOP

The NSW Small Business Commission's, Winning Business, is aimed at helping small businesses learn how to bid for contracts and improve their business pitch. This introductory course will help small businesses learn the skills they need to secure new customers, build a better business proposal and successfully manage contracts when they get them.
LEGAL ESSENTIALS FOR BUSINESS
Find out the common laws your new and existing business may need to comply with, such as registrations, fair trading, contracts, privacy laws, marketing and employment.
