The 2024 NYSF Year 12 Program Student Handbook tells you all you need to know about contacting the NYSF and information about activities before, during and after the program. Please read the handbook prior to attending in January.

Complete the Student Travel Details form

The Student Travels Details form collects information about how you will be travelling to and from the 2024 NYSF Year 12 Program. This information will allow us to coordinate shuttle buses to transport you from Brisbane and Canberra Airports, major train and bus stations to your accommodation.

NYSF Governor Receptions

The NYSF has a much-loved tradition where State Governors and Administrators across Australia offer their congratulations and encouragement to incoming NYSF Year 12 Program students.

In 2023, Governor Receptions will take place in WA, SA, QLD, NT, VIC and TAS.

 

Rotary District Welcome Events

Rotary District Welcome Events are on the horizon! These optional events are taking place in Districts across the country, and they're your chance to meet your fellow NYSFers, volunteers, and alumni! 

In 2023, Rotary Welcome Events will take place in Perth (WA), Ballarat (VIC), Walcha and Sydney (NSW), and Adelaide (SA).

Watch your emails for your special invitation to these events (for relevant Districts).         We're excited to see you there!

 

Travel Advice

Once your place in the program is confirmed we encourage you to book your travel. You may also consider obtaining travel insurance to cover any unexpected emergencies or unforeseen events.

You should arrive on the first day of your session between 12pm and 5pm, and depart on the last day of your session between 8am and 12pm. If your travel arrangements cannot meet the time frames detailed please get in touch. 

Once your travel is confirmed please complete the Student Travels Details form, as this will allow us to coordinate shuttle buses to transport you from Brisbane and Canberra Airports, major train and bus stations to your accommodation.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the deadline to accept my place at the NYSF Year 12 Program?

All paper work needs to be signed and the invoice fully paid before 1 November 2023.

When will I get the results of my NYSF Access and Equity Scholarship application?

Students that applied for an NYSF Access and Equity Scholarship will have been notified by email on the outcome of their application.

I'd like to seek support from Rotary. Can you help me?

Rotary are a fantastic source of support for participants of the NYSF Year 12 Program. We recommend reaching out to your local Rotary Club, and if you're having trouble getting in contact with your local Rotary Club please fill out the Rotary Sponsorship Form and send it to your Rotary District Chair. They will be in contact to help you find support.
